hatch speakers

hatch speakers im new here i just got a 1999 v6 camaro and want to replace the speakers and from what i read most say dont bother with the ones in the hatch and i was looking at em and the wiring and noticed they are riveted in the plastic is this normal and idk if i should change em and deal with all that or just leave em... any help is appreciated

Yes they are riveted from the factory, PITA, but I drilled mine out, and replaced those speakers along with everything else.
Find some small bolts and nuts to mount the replacement speakers with, easy enough to do.
