2002 WS6 lost ignition chime Ok, here goes:
Ever since I changed out my head unit I no longer get the slow chime when the key is first turned to the "run" position. It still does the fast chimes when door is open, or when the headlights are left on. Car starts and all, but the loss of the chime is killing my OCD. Any help would be appreciated.

The only factory chimes are the lights on warning, ignition key warning, and fasten belts warning. All of the factory chimes in fourth generation f-bodies come from the Body Control Module (BCM) and are unrelated to the head unit... unlike many newer model vehicles where the chimes are generated by the head unit.
