Kicker door speakers...

Kicker door speakers... Since I upgraded the sail panels to Bazookas, I've felt as if the stock front speakers were a bit lacking. I picked up a set of CS Kickers from Best Buy and slapped them in. They don't really seem louder than stock but they do seem to have a crisper sound to them.

I have the Stock Monsoon head unit and amp. Not planning on changing it at the moment.
What I did is a bit different and many would consider what did the wrong way to do it. I ended up using Kicker CS coaxials for the doors. Some will say that is too much tweeter. Well, the stock tweeters are powered by the head unit and are pretty weak sounding. Having some extra tweeter doesn't seem to be overpowering. With the TA, I have the equalizer to pull down the high end if needed. Also, in comparing the Kickers to the mid range components I was looking at, the Kickers seem to have a lower bass range. To me it seems to have a pretty full sound. I don't need a huge sub to shake every bolt loose on the car.
