Best solution for LED DRL for WS6
So what is the best method to put LED DRL for a 2002 WS6? Put an electric flasher in and get new sockets with any generic LED bulb? What are some good bulb options that will fit? I've read issues where the LED bulbs are too tall. Get a bulb with a resistor in-line? I don't mind splicing and such, I just want a solution that will work.
I don't plan on changing my rear lights to LED, if that matters. Only my DRL to prevent them from overheating again.
Thanks for any help.
Flasher: CEC Industries EF32RL
Front Bulbs: Antline 3157 Amber/Yellow 1000 Lumens
Rear Bulbs: Antline 3157 Brilliant Red 800 Lumens
The bulbs come in packs of 4 and I haven't had any fail in two years, I actually have LED's all the way around including 3rd brake light, in projector housings for
headlights + every bulb in the interior with exception of the ones behind the gauge panel and have had none of the issues others have had with cruise and whatnot but your mileage may vary.
I have basically the aluminum ones in my Formula, but from a different brand.
(I can't find the link right now in my order history, the ones I can find are the ones I bought for my Mustang and my Brother's WRX which also look the same.)
