Default Best solution for LED DRL for WS6

I'm sick of my DRLs burning out due to the heat from the stock bulbs. I've already changed my sockets once, and they are showing signs of burning out again. I also have new housings ready to put in, since both mine are cracked as usual.

So what is the best method to put LED DRL for a 2002 WS6? Put an electric flasher in and get new sockets with any generic LED bulb? What are some good bulb options that will fit? I've read issues where the LED bulbs are too tall. Get a bulb with a resistor in-line? I don't mind splicing and such, I just want a solution that will work.

I don't plan on changing my rear lights to LED, if that matters. Only my DRL to prevent them from overheating again.

Thanks for any help.

I put in the special flasher and then just used amber LED bulbs from Amazon, been two years with no problems, I went ahead and did rears as well with no problems out of the cruise control but some people do. When shopping for LED bulbs almost all of them have measurements somewhere in the pictures, just find some that work for you, biggest thing to remember with LED is get them whatever color you want otherwise it makes it look weird because the LED's are brighter white than incandescents.

Just looked up on Amazon, I used:
Flasher: CEC Industries EF32RL
Front Bulbs: Antline 3157 Amber/Yellow 1000 Lumens
Rear Bulbs: Antline 3157 Brilliant Red 800 Lumens

The bulbs come in packs of 4 and I haven't had any fail in two years, I actually have LED's all the way around including 3rd brake light, in projector housings for
headlights + every bulb in the interior with exception of the ones behind the gauge panel and have had none of the issues others have had with cruise and whatnot but your mileage may vary.

Antline makes a few different ones. Which of these do you mean?

Amazon Amazon

Amazon Amazon

Amazon Amazon

I have basically the aluminum ones in my Formula, but from a different brand.
(I can't find the link right now in my order history, the ones I can find are the ones I bought for my Mustang and my Brother's WRX which also look the same.)

I really like the color of the stock orange bulbs, are there any LEDs that are an orange color instead of yellow? I can't seem to find much...
