00 WS6 no signals We have a 2000 WS6 and recently had to replace steering column secondary to a steering rack problem. Ever since this was done we have no turn signals. Hazards work fine. when you turn the signal on, nothing comes up on the dash and the blinkers outside the car are not doing anything. We have replaced all of the bulbs we have replaced the flasher relay. Nada. we have gone back through the column and everything is connected as it should be.
If this problem started with a steering column swap, I'd start by tracing power at the electrical connector at the base of the steering column. If you unplug that connector, you should be able to use a continuity tester on the harness in the steering column to check the function of the turn signal switch.
Working hazards and working parking lights confirm the bulbs and all the harnesses in the car are good. At that point, the issue is isolated to the turn signal flasher and the switch. Since the switch is "new" to the car - I'd start there. The turn signal switch is an inexpensive part but, unfortunately, takes a few hours to install.
