Need amp recommendation? I would like to replace the stock Monsoon amp in my 2001 T/A with an amp that has RCA inputs. I do not want to replace the stock speakers. The purpose of all of this is to be able to plug the sound output of a carputer's sound card into it. Since the carputer will be replacing the stock head unit, I cannot use one of those PIE adapters that plugs into the stock Monsoon HU's CD changer port and changes it into an auxillary input port.
Can anybody recommend an amp? Can this even be done? I think replacing the stock speakers will be a pretty big job, so that'll be a last resort.

I'm in the same situation right now actually. I want to buy an amp to replace the stocker. It doesn't have to do anything fancy, but it does have to produce at least the same results as the stock amp. Any suggestions?
I wouldn't go through the trouble of all that and keep the stock speakers, kind of defeats the purpose of it all. Its your car though 
Any low power 2 or 4 channel amp will work fine. You don't need much power at all for the stock speakers, they can't handle much.

My budget would be up to $200.00. Selling my pie adapter, stock amp, and stock head unit would offset some of that though. The only reason I woudln't upgrade the speakere s right away is becuase of the cash mostly. Also, right now my head unit is the middle man in my setup and I want him out. I read on the forums the stock amp is like 8 channels and crossover this and that. I just want to get an amp and be able to make things work. Oh, and my front left stock speaker did blow recently and boy is it annoying .
