So, my high beams are stuck on. The actuator rod goes down into a white plastic piece that pushes in/out.
1. Is that piece supposed to "click"? In other words, should it stay down, and then once pushed again, stay up? Or does it basically switch to hi beam and then once pushed again, switches to lo?
As it stands, it stays up/out. I can manually push on it (down) but it pops right back up. If I hold it down very firmly, the high beams turn off...but it won't stay there, and once I release it, the hi beams are back on.
2. Number 19 is the rod. Number 17 is the "dimmer switch". However, there should be a piece in between the 2. I cannot find that info or part anywhere! The piece that pushes in/out.
