Alternative clock spring?

Alternative clock spring? 2002 Trans am.. mostly a racecar so I have removed the airbag, but use the stereo control wires for 2 button in their place, transbrake and bump button....
Clockspring broke..
Any alternative part numbers that will work given I don't care about airbag connection?

There are only two part numbers listed for the clock spring in a 2002 Firebird:
- 26072753 for vehicles with steering wheel controls
- 26072752 for vehicles without steering wheel controls
Both are discontinued and even ebay doesn't seem to have them. Your best bet might be a junk yard.

yep that's what I found.. the 98 looks very similar and since I removed airbag the airbag plug didn't seem to matter... but that was still $100 on ebay.. so I punted and put that $100 toward new quick release wheel instead...
these things aren't bad to fix if they sold the ribbon cables.. seems there would be some money in that and maybe I just didn't look hard enough..
