dome lights only turn on with switch The dome lights don't come on when the doors are open or with the dimmer switch. The dimmer switch does dim the gauge cluster. The switch next to the dome lights work. Is this a convertible thing? The car was in the family since 30,000 miles and I don't remember them ever coming on. My guess is it's something inside or around the mirror / dome lights. The door switches work as I just replaced the driver side. Another side note is that the driver side lock switch only locks the doors and doesn't unlock, while the passenger side lock only unlocks and doesn't lock. So if anyone knows what's up with that then it would be greatly appreciated.

Does the radio stay on or the power windows continue to work even after removing the key and opening a door? If so, then there may be an issue with a latch sensor in one of the doors or trunk. Does the door-open or trunk-open light on the dash work (test both doors and trunk)?
