I'm really trying to fix a couple of 4th gen era Delco cd & cassette radio units. I've tried some things with them, but really need relevant service manuals for them. I can find various 70s & 80s manuals on eBay, but getting anything in the 90's is a needle in a haystack. Does anyone have a source for original service manuals for the audio electronics?

I'm looking for 93-96 "electronically tuned radio with integral cd player" service manual, head unit models that were in the Camaro or Firebird. I have a Technics cd player mechanism from a 1994 unit that won't play (ERR message). I've cleaned the lens and replaced a couple of smd caps on the board that started leaking. No change. Also have a display on that unit that randomly flickers in brightness. I checked and resoldered all the connector pins on the display board to no avail.

I also am interested in a cassette mechanism manual from that year time period, as I have a tape/radio unit that won't play cassettes properly. Solenoid in the mechanism just clicks.

 

I would reach out to ReplacementRadios. If they can't get you the manuals, they likely have replacement modules that you need on their shelf.

 

I was told by ReplacementRadios that they don't have any documentation that old.

 

Looks like eBay is your best bet.
