Default Adding a spare key fab

I have been trying to add a spare key fab to my 2000 Trans Am. I'm pulling radio fuse, turning key 3 times, then hold lock and unlock on the fab until I hear the door lock engage. When I do this it just links up to the new fab I'm trying to add and my old fab won't work anymore. I have tried this with 3 different fabs. One of them is oem. When it disables the last fab I linked up it only allows me to have one fab linked to car at one time. Is there a way to ADD a key fab so I can have 2-3 spares?

It sounds like everything is working the way it should up to the point of getting the first fob programmed. When you program the first fob, all previous fobs are deactivated and would have to be added again during the same process. That means that as soon as you program the first fob and get the door lock/unlock/hatch release response confirmation, you simply pick up the next fob and hold the lock and unlock buttons until you get the same response again. Continue to do that with up to four fobs. Do not go back to the start of the procedure with cycling the ignition or any of that in between activating each fob. Only after you have activated all the fobs consecutively do you turn off the ignition and replace the fuse.

Thanks for the response. I'll try this when I get the car out next. I'm almost sure that will work though. This makes sense. I can't believe I didn't think of that. Thanks again!
