Custom sub box dimensions Hello all, I have a 93-97 firebird base model and I was looking to maybe build my own sub box. I found one on amazon that I like the look of (Link: ) but it's a bit pricey for me and I would prefer to have a ported box if at all possible. Currently I have a Rockville dB15 and a triple 12 sub box that has been cut to a single, and currently had to patch the bottom of my box because water was getting into my trunk and soaked the box. The whole bottom fell off. The sub I have is a Sony Xplod because that's what came with the box. Now it just doesn't sound good, If I turn it up too far it trips the protect on the amp (I had the amp tested and it is good) and all I can smell is coil even if I'm not pushing it too hard. Anyway I would like a ported box similar in style to the one on amazon but I cannot find any dimensions to build it. Idk if it will be cheaper but I can price it out. I'm wondering if anyone has dimensions or any plans that I could reference, or if anyone went in a different direction for a dual sub box.
