Programming Keyfobs Hey all,
I have followed as per owners manual to the T. I can program original remote without issue. My new aftermarket one with correct FCC # worked first time but was very hit and miss and now won’t program.
I did notice once when programming mode was turned on it lock, unlocked and popped hatch as it should. Now it only cycles locks and no hatch pop. However when OEM fob is programmed the hatch never pops during entry of program mode or when key fob is married but once I test with OEM fob everything incl trunk works perfect. New fob when trying now will lock cycle like 3 seconds after holding buttons, I’ve tried keeping them held 20 seconds but no dice.
Bad fob?
