Stereo to VSS connection in 97 base model?

Stereo to VSS connection in 97 base model? Hey all, madly searching for the best way to do this in my 97 Firebird 3800ii. Got a Sony XAV-AX4000 with wireless CarPlay that requires a pink speed signal wire to be connected to VSS. The same years Camaro has the VSS in the radio harness but sadly the Firebird doesn’t. Where can I find this wire? Is it accessible in the radio cavity, or do I need to extend the pink wire and run it somewhere to find the VSS output? All I know is that it goes from the PCM C1 pin 55 to the speedo, but wiring diagrams haven’t helped me actually find the dang thing in an easily spliceable location. If there’s a workaround to this would love to hear it.

For anyone stumbling into the same issue in the future, here was my resolution: Don't worry about the stereo manual and multiple online articles saying the VSS and GPS connections are both required for wireless Carplay. They must be outdated. I tested it through several miles of driving over the past few days with only the GPS in, and wireless Carplay worked perfectly fine.
*Also, I was ultimately unable to find the VSS wire. The PCM, which was my only known VSS location, had plastic covers that were very brittle and I didn't want to force them off. Glad I didn't have to bother in the end
