back up camera question
back up camera question I have a 2011 Silverado with backup camera that's located in the pull handle of the tail gate. I need to remove the tail gate to fix some rust. can I just cut the wire that feeds the camera and use a waterproof connector to hook it back up? I don't want to have to deal with taking the handle all apart on the tail gate.

Theres a 4 wire connector you disconnect to remove the complete tailgate it's right above the license plate with tailgate up. Pull the three bolts out that hold the handle and the bezel with camera can be removed then.
