Shock Sensor Alarm going off.

Shock Sensor Alarm going off. I currently have a problem with the alarm system going off and arming about 30 seconds after I turn off and get out of the car. You touch the car at all or open the door the alarm system goes off.
The car is not in passive arming mode in the programming mode. In programming mode when I hit unlock on the door, I get only one chime.
I believe it is related to the shock sensors.
I had unplugged the rear shock sensor in the trunk once before I rebuilt my engine. It worked to turn the alarm off then for a few days. Now months later I’m having the same problem again after my rebuild.
I currently have both shock sensors unplugged. The one in the passenger side trunk area near spare tire. Also as the one underneath the dash is now unplugged. I don’t believe there are any more shock sensors in the car if there are let me know.
Not sure how to fix this should I purchase new shock sensors, and plug them in? Or is there any other get around to the alarm system?

The factory alarm system has only one shock sensor - the one in the rear hatch area near the spare tire. If you have an additional one under the dash then someone has installed an aftermarket alarm system. In fact, if you only get a single chime when you enter programming mode then your car is not equipped with the factory alarm system and both shock sensors belong to an aftermarket alarm system. If your car has the factory alarm, the RPO code UA6 will be on the door label.

I have factory code UA6. I unplugged under the dash on what looks to be the steering column something that looks to be similar to a shock sensor. I’ll try replacing the rear one to see if that my work.
