Kee Audio crossover question Just purchased Level 2 speaker kit for my 2002 T/A . Everything looks like nice quality. So far I have the hatch speakers installed in the panels. Next is the rear seat speakers, My question is about the Crossovers.. The kit came with CDT audio HD-2500/EX-430 2 way crossovers. My system is the Monsoon system. CD player w/ 7 slides ( equalizer?) It does not have the CD changer in the rear. My best guess is that I dont use the crossovers. Is that correct? I have no idea if the Monsoon system has a built in amp. I've only owned this car less than a year. With less than 7000 miles on it, the stock speakers are shot because of age i'm guessing. Thanks. Love the car. Black WS6 auto.

Yes, the Monsoon system has its own amp mounted in the right hatch area in front of the spare tire. It is designed to power all speakers except the tweeters in a Firebird (all speakers in a Camaro) and has its own signal filtering built in, so you should not use the crossovers that came with the package. The door and hatch tweeters are powered directly from the head unit with inline high pass filters.
