Default Touchscreen Radio?

Any suggestions on a touchscreen or Bluetooth radio for my 01 TA. Something that's almost plug and play!

Crutchfield is a great place to shop - put in your car specs & they spit out all the HU that are compatible along with EVERYTHING you need for the install. After gaining this info you can decide to buy from them or take that info & shop around...

Personally, I just went with a Kenwood Excelon Ref DDX9907XR touchscreen double DIN HU & everything needed for install. New speakers installed were from KEE Audio CDT Level 4 system

I did a Kenwood 5707. The only issue is this head unit seems to not work with steering wheel controls.

The unit I purchased does work with steering wheel controls by using the Axxess ASWC-1 Control Adapter

It's been many years since I've seen a completely plug-and-play replacement and that was an old Audiovox 1.5 DIN CD and cassette combination intended for dealers to use as an upgrade. Double DIN units will fit quite nicely with the proper trim bezel and a wiring harness adapter. Also, as mentioned, you will need an adapter to make the steering wheel controls work. You will NOT need anything special to make the head unit work with a Monsoon system, regardless of what Crutchfield or any other audio dealer tries to sell you. Just attach the wiring harness adapter to the new head unit, plug it into the factory radio connector and everything will work.
