Default stereo upgrades

I am putting in a set of mtx 8000s with a 1000 watt mtx amp with the stock monsoon stereo. My question is should I upgrade the battery or alternator or leave em alone. Also what all do I need to install this as far a wire and fuses and stuff. Any ideas just tryn to get some info.

id leave the battery and alternator alone and just get a capacitor. as far as wiring goes, definitely get 4 gauge for your power wire, and make sure your ground wire is the same gauge. then you'll need RCAs (or signal wire) to hook into your head unit and speaker wire for the subs. your system will only sound as good as its source and its wire... so, the thicker the gauge, the better the signal will travel to the speakers with less distortion.
