Default remove my 6.5" subs?

i have my head unit, my 10" sub in the back (a 10" kenwood sub on a rockford 200w amp), my alpine speakers in the door, and my stock speakers in the hatch (everything but the sub on the stock amp). the head unit bass can be turned up and it makes the sub hit harder, however, the subs in the middle seem to be sounding like crap when i turn the bass up. if i disconnect those middle speakers, is it safe to say that i can turn the bass up more and get more bass while still having the system sound good? has anyone ever done this? on my alpine HU now, the bass is set to 0.

Sure can...., Take off the sail panels, then unscrew the rear speakers, disconnect them. While you have the speaker out, i'd put a few layers of sound deadening on the inner wheelwell, and maybe some foam sheets, like the hot water heater insulation, it's good sound deadening as well..

so i took them out. apparently (i don't know if removing the subs caused this...) my passenger side hatch speaker no worky now. that pssngr side speaker is sitting directly on my amp practically - could that have anything to do with it? and the driver's side one sounded like ****, so i pulled it.

now i just have the front 2 speakers and the 10" sub in the back. i couldn't mess with the bass much, it just distorted my alpine speakers up front. do we blame the monsoon amp on this?

i have a rockford 201s amp which is 200wx1 or 600wx2; i'm using the 200x1 for the sub, and the sub is a kenwood.

i'm contemplating on getting some components and either running this rockford with those, or getting a different 2 channel amp for the components. i don't want to be one of those guys who has spent thousands on his system either. the 201s sounds badass with the 10" kenwood sub. i'm thinking about getting a Punch P2 instead of the kenwood also, so that might make that amp be even better. i dunno, can't really decide...advice?
