Default Unlock code

I was looking through my old stereo equipment and came across one of my old head units. Its a Kenwood KDC-X569. The problem is that from being powered down for so long it went into lock mode, and I have nooo idea what the code is. Does anybody know what I can do to get it working again?

See the two links on this thread. The first will tell you what steps to take. The second thread gives an updated dealer code to enter when you call the 1-800 number. I just tried this two days ago and it worked like a charm. Now I'm pissed at my dealer for telling me I had to make an appointment and that he was going to charge me $45 to do it. It took me less than 2 minutes start to finish. Good luck.

BlackBowtie,

That will only work for the stock f-body Monsoon headunit. It will not work for a Kenwood KDC-X569, which is what was asked.
