cd skipping

so the other day i was cruising home from work and i had to take a detour and was a horribly paved road. well i bottomed out pretty good and i dont know if i shook something in the headunit loose (wires, mounting screws....) but now every little bump that i hit makes the cd's skip....does anyone have any advice???

For starters, make sure the screws are tight that hold the cd player in the dash.

okay so i got a chance to pull the radio out and check the connections and the get the bolts back on tight but still the same problems.....any ideas ?!?!?!?!??!

Probably something internally loose. I dont know your electronic skill level but short of trouble shooting stuff down on the component level, why dont you swap it out with a freinds. Also junk yards will tell then for about 10 bucks.
