center speakers not functional?

center speakers not functional?

i am not sure what is wrong with my center speakers in my 99 Z but when i unhook the speakers in the back and hook the ones up in the middle and blast the music with it faded to the back i get very little out of them.

tested the speakers they seem somewhat ok? yet you have to play with the wires a little to get a 9-volt to get them to pull in/push out....

just wondering if anyone can give me any advice on a quick fix or maybe an upgrade if needed....

i was looking to upgrade my whole system this spring.... not sure what is wrong with the middle speakers tho.... i would like to get them working if possible before upgrading to new speakers if they dont work, then i wont bother and just leave the stock system in there...

car has been like that ever since i bought it 8 months ago?

please help
