I Messed Up I feel like a moron. I installed a new pair of Alpine SPS-170A's. Well the drivers side went fine and sounded great... then i got to the passenger side and well i thought i had it wired right and it turns out I did the first time. I started to play music to make sure they were in working order and all of a sudden the stereo turned off. Then it came back on played for 10 seconds and went back off. Well thats when I went inside and rewired the speaker the other way. Well went outside to test them again and the same thing happened. Well then I realize the battery is dead from leaving the door open all day. So i break out the battery charger and start charging away while I went inside one more time to switch the wiring to they way i did it the first time. Well then got everything working and realized that when i played the music for that 10 seconds with the amp hooked to the tweeter i blew it and now it sounds just as bad as the blown monsoon. 
Now im in the hunt for some new tweeters that im going to mount separate. Damn battery is getting yanked out too because its on its last leg went dead on me twice so far. Any one have suggestions for tweeters? im soooo pissed

Don't feel bad, When I installed my system a few months ago, I installed 2 amps, a sub, and a set of Focal PolyKevlar 165K2's. Bad ground on my comp amp led to me frying my entire pass side Focals. Man was I pissed. I ended up buying some Utopia tweets off Ebay, and luckly found a local shop that repaired my voice coil for cheap. Been damn cold out so haven't installed them yet. But I do have to say that even with only the driver's side Focal's running, it sounded damn good, can't imagine what it's gonna sound like with the other side hooked up.
