Default Question in regard to gettin CD changer???

I have a 2k2 ws6 with a 500 watt monsoon CD sound system. I am missing the CD changer in the back. I am sure that there is a wiring harness that is in the rear hatch to hook up a CD changer. I am looking for a 12 disc cd changer.

What should I look for?

A monsoon cd changer?
A AC delco cd changer?
A GM cd changer?

I see all of these 12 disc cd changer options on ebay!! What should I get??
From what year to what year will the cd changer be compatible with my car?
Will a corvette, camaro, trans am, pontiac cd changer work ???

Wow, I was about to ask almost the exact same question. Here was my write-up,

I've been looking around and figured you guys would know as well as anyone.

Anyway, my 2000 Formy came factory with the single CD monsoon system. I would like to change it over to the optional 12 disc changer, I would like to stay with factory GM stuff. What all do I need to buy and where is the best place to get it from? Should I be able to do the install myself, or get it professionally done? I know I could go to a full aftermarket 12 disc changer, but I kinda like the idea of staying GM with the stereo. If I have to go aftermarket, what would you guys recommend? Again, I'd like to stay stock, but I hate having to change CDs while I'm driving, and any time I ask my lady friend to change the disc she puts in one of her Beck CDs...bluh...

Any help will be much appreciated.
