Need advice on factory monsoon Ok I have read thru many threads on this forum but none have cleared up all of my questions. Well I just bought a 2002 trans am w/ monsoon system and I want to put a system in it. I already have most of the equipment so it really wont cost me much. Ok here is what i want to do:
I want to change out my head unit. I have a nice alpine cda-9815 that I will be putting in. The thing about the head unit is that I want to be able to use my steering wheel controls and be able to control the factory 12 disc in the trunk. I found the swi-x for the controls but was wondering if I needed to buy something for the 12 disc. Next question is, what speakers would the new deck be powering? Thanks
