stolen screen, what to do now...........

I had my 7 inch screen stolen out of my car. They got something they cant even use pretty much. What I am wondering is that you know how it takes 2 components to make a dvd system work right?? You have the brain then the monitor, well I still have the brain, so can I just buy a new foldout monitor for my dash???? It is (was) panasonic, any suggestions.

Call panosonic and they can get you a new one, call your insurance and file a claim? You can always sell the brain and then just buy a new unit, might save some money...

If I file a claim my insurance will go up, can I just buy a new head unit??? If so what kind should i get......

you can only get a new HU for those brains from panasonic probably, the brains are specific. you can get a nice clarion for 1000 from crutchfield. sounds like an alarm system might be what you need first
