Need a budget front speaker replacement. Thoughts?
Need a budget front speaker replacement. Thoughts? I have a stripper hard top z and I recently replaced my base non monsoon head unit with a aftermarket 50w x 4 HU. I am not really into sound systems, but would like to improve the sound quality of the fronts. My car seems unbalanced. The rear is full and drown out the fronts. I need more coming from up front. I also want to be able to turn my stereo all the way up without the sound up front breaking up at max volume. I am not looking to spend much.
My current system:
factory front and back seat side panel factory speakers
kenwood HU
800w 4channel amp powering- stealthbox w/ JL 10in sub
ideas?

Yup. Do that and then spend the money on the Front's. There's a discussion going on right now. I say keep the rears (stock is plenty) and put your money towards a set of components.

Those are some damn good prices. The Infinity Kappa's are pretty much at Cost.
