stock amp

I've noticed lately that it seems like the amp is going off and then coming on at random times. For example, I will be listening to a song that generally has bass in it, but will sound flat until the amp suddenly kicks on and the bass is back. Anyone else have this problem? Is a wire lose or is the amp bad?

Hard to say. Do you have a freind that you can swap amps real quick to find out?

Its not that hard. You will have to remove the spare tire cover and the jack. there are 2 bolts holding down the braket and it should slide out. Then disconnect the 2 connectors.
