I don't know much about the components,but I have a friend with Visonik subs in a bandpass.Sounds pretty good for what he paid for them.

Visioniks used to be really cheap, i guess they've come up since alot of there stuff is priced somewhere in the middle of the pack.

Well all im saying is theres better proven brands for around the same price.

Infinity is a good low cost speaker

really, when you get into components, the leading distinguishing factor between the different choices is going to be midbass. cheap component can't play midbass very well (or at all), and high-end ones can. there are other factors, too, but midbass is often the big one.
