Default electrical issues

So far I have not had any real problems, just things I have noticed. First, there is a whine in my rear speakers from time to time, I have been told that its just the ground for the amp. I have also had my headlights flicker from time to time, its actually hard to notice because it happens very quickly. The last thing, is the display on my head unit, it continously dims itself and then goes back to normal. Anyone have an idea for what my be causing these things?

All of these problems in different areas make me lean towards a bad altenator or bad alt wire. Hows your voltage?

I've got to ask. Does you battery posts have that green fuzzy look? Are your batttery connections CLEAN and tight? Just something to look at first.

AC/Delcos tend to do that. Have you measured your voltage with your car running with a volt meter?
