Tricky car... subs actually came on while at stop light
Tricky car... subs actually came on while at stop light I have been without my monsoon subs for quite some time now. All of the sudden, they both came on! Actually sounded kinda nice since I havent heard them for such a long time. Then about 10 seconds later... gone. I got it home and beat the hell out of everything I could and nothing would make them come on. I even went back to the same song and nodda. lol. What would cause this?! Obviously they arent blown since they both kicked on suddenly.

Either the amp is bad or one may have a shorted voice coil and it is shutting off on protection. But it has been my experience with monsoon that the amp is usually the culprit.
what size amp do you and, how much load do you have on it and what size is your main fuse? sound's like you got a good size amp that has a load on it and to small of a fuse it can be intermitain like that.
Hmm... did everyone miss the fact that I said MONSOON SUBS??
