PCM grommet on Passenger Side - Question?

PCM grommet on Passenger Side - Question? Hey all, I know where the grommet is on the passenger side of the firewall behind the PCM. My question is, do I need to actually unplug the PCM in order to get access to the grommet? Because I tried this the other day and couldn't get the PCM far enough out of the way. I just want to be sure the best way to do this, so as to not screw anything up. I'm just trying to get my 4ga thru there...any info would be great!

i ran 0 awg through it no more than a week ago....
the PCM is held with a clip on either side. simpily pull the clip out while tugging on the PCM, then repeat on other side untill the unit is out. this should give you plenty of space to access the said location

I didn't even remove the pcm. Just use a coat hanger, fish tap or something similar and push it through from inside the car until you can see it from the engine side. Then connect the wire to the fish tape, etc. with duct tape and pull it through.
