Will this amp be enough??

Well they dont sound like a 10" sub. But, I thought they sounded pretty good with my setup. I ran the alpine type-s 6.5's in the front and those in the back with a alpine 9847 headunit- without an amplifier. I am actually in the process of trying to get rid of those though because I think am going to put a sub in the trunk and bridge it to my amplifier for my rear speakers and just run components up front.

Agreed.. It is after all only a 6.5" driver. Won't have the hard hitting bass that a bigger speaker will provide. It did give off some thump yes?
Running these off the head unit though.. That's a big no no. That head unit can only do ~ 15-20 watts rms at best. If you read the specs on those mid bass drivers, the sensitivity is only 86 or 87 dB. (Not as loud as a speaker with 90 dB or greater).
One other question. How heavy would you say the single speaker is? According to the specs, they type X 6.5" are ~3lb. vs ~5lb for the type R...

It did give a little bump to the back of my seat. Ya, these are rated at 75 watts rms so I'm sure that with a little amp it will give more bump to these. I can't imagine them being any more then 4-5 pounds... if that.
