2000 harness in a 98 z
2000 harness in a 98 z well i got the chance to buy a harness to replace my torn engine harness in my 1998 z28 the new engine harness is a 2000 z28 harness . whats the diff in each one diff pin location? what has to be done to make this 2000 engine harness work in my 1998 z28

The 99 through 02 models use the same engine harness except that M6 is different than A4. The 98 model has a different part number but I would expect that the actual harness is so similar that you won't have any trouble using the newer one. The service manual wiring diagrams show all the same wires and colors so any difference is probably very minor.
