Center console light going out?

Center console light going out? I have a 2002 Z-28 with A4 and I noticed the center console lights that tells you what gear your in was flickering. Is there a way to change this lamp and what kind is it/where to buy? Any help greatly appreciated.

In order to change it... there should be two 7mm bolts in the console. Mine are under a change holder in there. Remove those, and you should be able to pry up everything far enough to get to that bulb. (If you find a need to take it off further, you'll have to pull off your shift ****) You'll have to twist it to release the socket. Before you go out to buy another bulb, make sure that that bulb is in tight enough.
As for the bulb number... I have no clue, and can't find it.

if its the same as a 96 camaro the number is 73, you can get this at any parts store its a small bulb, when you repale it make sure you dont brake the bulb when you try to pull it out because its hell getting it out good luck
