Upgrading "BIG 3", what are they??

Upgrading "BIG 3", what are they?? I'm started installing my new HO alt tonight and got it out so far. I'm also doing the "big 3" upgrade as well and was wondering what it was exactly and what size and to make sure I get it right.
I see a power & ground in a wire loom from alt area to battery, but not sure where the ground wire was connected on the alternator? Upgrade those plus the battery to chassis and that's the big 3, right? Use all 4ga for it?

1) Battery negative to chassis
2) Alternator to battery positive
3) Chassis to engine
