Anyone have a scanner? I'm just wondering if anyone has mounted a police scanner in their F-bodies? I'm not asking about the legalities of them (they're legal here) but I was wondering if anyone has installed any. I have a friend who has a base unit installed in his glove box and has it wired in to cut into his cd player anytime it picks up a signal. Pretty cool if you ask me. He has a flexable wire antennae on the front windshield, you really dont even notice it.

I have one mounted under the Drivers seat. I also mounted some external speakers in the headrests so that it is unnoticable. I really works out good i can hear it even with the radio up pretty loud. I also mounted one in my buddys camaro where we cut the foam out of the rear seat and mounted it under there( of course no one will ever be able to sit there. but who wants people in the back seat anyways?) any questions PM me
