wanting to change headunit..have a question i was looking thru the FAQ and was wondering one thing...for now..i want to change the head unit for an aftermarket...i did notice it said to use a certain wiring harness..70-1858 Pro Wire Harness..will the new headunit be ok to work with the monsoon setup? or use of the factory amp? if it will work,. where can i buy this harness from?

You can install a new head unit rather effortlessly. It will work as expected using the stock speakers and amp. The harness just makes it easier to interface with the factory wiring so you dont have to cut any of it.
One thing for sure, with a new headunit, you will not be satisfied with the sound, and will eventually redo the whole thing

The monsoon is pretty much crap... even mediocre aftermarket speakers and amps will blow the monsoon away. If you are tight on cash look into Pioneer speakers and Profile or Audiobahn amps. For a couple hundred $ you do way better than the monsoon.
