Is there a faq or detailed guide around here? I thought I saw one a while back but don't remember.

I have removed mine. 10 min job. very easy with hand tools. I removed mine to replace the front speakers. just make sure you get all the bolts out before tugging. there are about 4 or 5 bolts to take out if I remember correctly. good luck

There are 3 large screws and 3 small screws that need to be removed to get the door panel off in a Camaro. Not sure if the Firebirds are different. The 3rd large screw is recessed underneath the armrest. That was the toughest one for me to find. Remember to remove the plastic triangle behind the mirror first.
