blinkers dont work

I thought it would be the opposite. Since the daytime running lamps were on all the time, then turning the headlights on would have no affect on the front blinkers. That's why I was thinking rear blinkers. I know the brake lights are a totally seperate circuit, but the F-bodies don't use the blinkers as tail lights also? I haven't seen a wiring diagram and haven't had a reason to mess with mine.

The Firebirds share the taillights with the turn signals but the Camaros are wired differently and have separate amber turn signals that don't share anything with the taillights except a common ground point.
It would be interesting to find out if turn on the parking lights (not full headlights) also causes the fuse to blow. The difference is that the front lights continue to run the bright (DRL/turn signal) filament when the parking lights are on but switch to the dim (running light) filament when the headlights go on.
