Default Touchscreen displays

I've been looking at touchscreen displays to finish off my system, I've narrowed it down to 2 choices so I wanted to get some opinions and see what the powers that be thought of my choices

I don't have unlimited funds, but I have a healthy budget, I've already bought focal speakers all the way around (no rears, those are disconected), and I have solobarics in the rear which will probably be getting replaced with some PG octane 12" ers or some other SQ subs - I had some problems with the amps so I've been pretty turned off to kicker.

I've wanted a touch screen display for awhile, for many reasons. The ones I've narrowed it down to are the following..

#1 choice

Pro's
- 5 Volt preamp outs
- one of the most accurate touch screens I've ever seen (friend has this unit)
- does pretty much anything related to playability
- 2-zone functional and control

con's
- no customizable backgrounds or screensavers (that I'm aware of anyway)

----------------------------------------------------------

#2 Choice

pro's
- customizable screensavers and display
- DVD navigation
- GPS tracking (good or bad thing? lol)
- 1 year free roadside assistance (woot? )
- tri-zone functional and control

con's
- 2 volt preamp outs (biggest turnoff)
- based on reviews - SQ is good, but could be alot better
- price

------------------------------------------------------------

#3 choice

pro's

- fully customizable display and background
- blue backlight to match my car ()
- 2 zone functional and control

con's

- 2 volt preamp outs (for a 1000 dollar headunit I expect more...)
- hard to use interface
- internal EQ is less than average, and hard to use

Opinions? constructive crit, etc, are all appreciated.

I also would love some recommendations for other headunits.

I had the chance to check out the kenwood KVT-817dvd this weekend, I was amazed. You wont need to change the screen saver. it has the best looking automated backgrounds I have ever seen on a factory screen. It is 100 times better then the ugly wall paper on the 717 wall paper. and the audio control is endless. I changed my mind and bought it insted of the eclipse. I can get it wholesale to. Link here not the cheapest place but the best pics and stats. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-EK3Ch3K...sp?i=113817DVD

If you do get this check and make sure it is the newer ( Excelon ) unit not the older one. Witch I dont believe is an exelon and looks alot different not to mention lacks alot of the features.
