Wipers crapped out?

Today I had some snow on my windshield, like less than a 1/4 inch and I turned on the wipers and they went about half way then quit. They wont do anything, not even make any sound. I already checked the fuse and its not blown. Did I fry my motor? Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

DUDE! That **** just happened to me. To get it to work again I Hit the sprayer. Then it worked. But Intermitent didnt want to work. But now its ok. I dunno what up? Can anyone help?

Even when I hit the sprayer nothing happens. Not even any noise. Its my dd so I really need to get this fixed. I dont want to drive around Ace Ventura style.
