Hidden Sub?

Hidden Sub? My buddy just bought an LS1 with the Monsoon system in it and when I was riding with him I noticed his bass sounded a million times better than mine. I looked at his eq and he had the bass almost all the way down. I looked in the hatch area and stuff but I cant find a subwoofer or anything...any ideas?

Could be just the fact of having aftermarket speakers. I know I have better bass from my SPS-170A's in the doors than the stock subs in the sail panels. It should be even better after I replace those.
