amp kit question
amp kit question Hey all,
I am going to install 2 amps in my car, so I wanted to get a kit with all the neccesary items. I found a couple on e-bay, but I don't think the power wires are long enough. I wanted to get a 4 guage to 8 guage distriution block set-up.
I came across a few threads where people suggested a 20 ft. power wire, but none of the kits I have found have that length. They are all 17ft. or 18ft. and I just don't want to come up short. I was wondering if any of you have used a shorter kit or could point me in the direction of a good quality kit, that will work for our cars. Thanks any help would be appreciated. Oh yeah it's an '01 formula.

17 and 18 feet should be plenty long... especially if you want to use a distribution block... just be careful when buying a kit and buy a name brand.. because a lot of the no-name wires just use a 8 gauge wire with a 4 gauge sheath... unsafe if you are pulling much current.
