rear speakers are acting weird

rear speakers are acting weird i just installed a stereo system in a 95 blazer. i installed a cd player, 4 door speakers, amp, and 2 12's. first i installed the head unit and 4 new door speakers a week prior to everything else and it all sounded fine. after installing the amp and subs, i had someone touch the power wire to the battery just so i could hear everything play and make sure everything was working correctly, which it was. after i fastened the wire down to the battery, the rear driver's side speaker buzzes terribly, and the passanger side rear speakers doesnt even play. when i unhook the 8 gauge power wire from the battery, the buzzing in the rear driver side speaker stops and the speaker sounds fine, but the other rear speaker (passanger side) still doesnt play? again, this all happened once the wire was fastened down to the battery. this is all a result of installing the amp and amp kit, it did nothin like this before the amp and kit was put in. the door speakers are not connected to the amp in any way, it's run directly from the head unit power and the amp only powers the subs. i even ran the RCA's and the power wire on separate sides to avoid extra noise. anyone have any ideas?

at the car audio store, i told the sales guy the plans for the system, and he recommeneded this certain cd player. i halfway fixed the problem tho.....i just took off the cable and put it back on and the buzin stoped and the subs played? but the rear pass. speaker is still out, im gonna get that checked.
