MTX amp, Kicker sub, Pioneer headunit....
MTX amp, Kicker sub, Pioneer headunit.... Hey all, another question on a setup for my car....Ive read through even more of the stickys and researched more and more. Question is, can I wire this setup to bring to a 2ohm load by wiring in a series (both positives to positive end of channel, etc.) and keeping the amp stable? (I want to get the most out of the amp) Last question is can I modify a 10 inch stealth box to fit a square solo baric and will the box have enough volume for either the comp vr or solo baric to function? Ill be installing a 1 Farad capacitor and be running the system off a Pioneer P7700MP....eventually upgrading the speakers too. What do yall think? Any comments, advice..ANYTHING will help. Thanks

Your MTX amp is a monoblock and is stable to 2ohms, so it would be fine to run a dual 4ohm sub in parallel. On the MTX site in archieves it shows the 421D running a MTX 8500 dual 4 ohm vc in parallel.
