Car Cut Off Ive done the search and there are some good ideas out tyere but i want the best
Criteria:
1. easy to use
2. Invisible or at least hard to find or figure out
3. Something you could use in a car jacking situation..flip the switch...turn off the car hand the crook the keys and leave alive....crook tries ito re-start the car..it wont....Im around the corner...
My first best Idea is to incorporate the cigarettes lighter....as a circuit breaker or to open the starting circuit..to start the car you have to push it in or out THEN use the key...a button under the carpet would work well too

i have something similar setup in my car.
If you just turn the key to try and start it, it will start, however it will only run on 2cyl (i have a v6 mind you) To get the car to run properly you have to turn the key to acc. and use a special combination of buttons and/or switches and then start the car

Some DEI alarms have an anti-carjacking feature. You can leave the car running (to avoid pissing off the carjacker), just press a button on the key fob as you're getting out and walk away. The car will only run for a couple of minutes before the alarm kicks in and the car shuts off.
