Default Fuse Question

Just had a quick question about my sum/amp set up. I have 2 12's and a relatively small amp trying to push the subs. Every time i turn the bass up my amp fuses blow. They are two 30A fuses. I realize to not get them to blow i have to turn down the bass, but what would happen if i just replaced the fuses with 40A fuses. I plan on getting a new amp anyways, so if the worse case scenario is i just burn up the amp then so long. I just dont want to catch anything on fire. Thanks for the input.

Most likely, you are overdriving the amp. If you replace the 30A with 40A, you may cause internal damage. I would make sure the amp was supposed to have 30A fuses. I was blowing a 50A fuse on my PPI A600, many years ago, and it was caused by overdrive the amp into a 2 ohm load brigded and the amp was only 4 ohm stable.
