Default Capacitor wiring question

I have a capacitor going to a 500/1 JL amp and I also have a fosgate amp powering my components. I just bought a capacitor for my fosgate and I was wondering if I would be able to just use a buss bar between the two capacitors and use 1 4gauge wire to power them both. Would this be bad, or should I just run a seperate power wire from the battery to the new capacitor?

your power wire should run from the battery to the capacitor/s and then to the amp.

I understand that part of it, but my question was, can I use one power wire for 2 capacitors?

to give reason.... your comps are going to perty much draw the same amount of power most of the time... A cap really isnt usfull to most setup's and are over used... Using one for somps will do nothing for you at all....if anything it can only hurt by making another point that will need to be grounded and for power to run between.

if your having problems with dimming lights or lack of power try upgrading all your ground cables in your car to 4 guage or a overdrive alt pulley or a bigger alt....

Capacitors are a band-aid for a deeper problem. You need to do the big 3 upgrade and if that doesn't help, get a HO alternator.
